These rules apply when you use the online multiplayer features of UNDER US (« Game »). They form part of the contractual framework with Skills Issue Entertainment (« Company ») and complement the EULA. By playing online, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in warnings, temporary or permanent bans, or other measures under the EULA.
1. General Conduct
- Respect other players. Do not harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate others. No hate speech, discrimination, or slurs based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected grounds.
- No griefing. Do not intentionally ruin the experience of others (e.g. destroying bases without legitimate gameplay reason, blocking essential areas, trapping players).
- Communication. In-game chat and voice (where available) must not be used for spam, scams, or illegal content. Follow the same standards of respect as above.
- Impersonation. Do not impersonate the Company, staff, or other players to mislead or harm others.
2. Cheating and Exploits
- No hacks or cheats. Use of unauthorized third-party software, cheats, or hacks (e.g. aimbots, speed hacks, wallhacks) is prohibited.
- No automation. Bots or other automation that give an unfair advantage in gameplay are not allowed unless explicitly permitted by the Game (e.g. official server tools).
- No exploit abuse. Do not intentionally exploit bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage (e.g. duplicating items, bypassing game mechanics). Report bugs to the Company when possible; exploiting them may lead to sanctions including suspension or permanent ban.
These rules align with the EULA (e.g. suspension and termination, exploitation of bugs). The Company may use anti-cheat or other tools to detect violations.
3. Bases and Structures
- Do not block gameplay. Do not build structures that intentionally block essential areas, spawn points, or objectives in a way that severely harms others' ability to play.
- Do not abuse game systems. Do not create structures or use mechanics in a way that is designed to crash servers, cause excessive lag, or otherwise disrupt the service for others.
- Building in PvP or shared areas. In PvP or contested zones, building and raiding may be part of the game design; follow the rules of the server (official or community). Griefing (see above) remains prohibited.
4. Moderation and Reporting
- Server administrators (official or community) may warn, kick, or ban players who violate these rules or the server's own rules, in line with the EULA and any applicable Dedicated Server License.
- Reporting: A reporting form is available on our website at https://under-us.com/ for serious violations (cheating, harassment, etc.). Use it to report misconduct. False or abusive reports may themselves be sanctionable.
- Company action: Skills Issue Entertainment reserves the right to take action (including suspension or permanent ban) on any server or platform where the Game is used, in accordance with the EULA.
5. Punishments
Depending on the severity and context of the violation, the Company or server administrators may apply:
- Warnings: A formal notice to stop the behavior.
- Temporary bans: Temporary loss of access to the Game or to specific servers.
- Permanent bans: Permanent loss of access in serious or repeated cases.
- Server wipes or resets: Where necessary for the integrity of the game or server (e.g. widespread cheating, critical exploits), progression or server data may be reset in accordance with the EULA.
Decisions are made in line with the EULA (including discretionary suspension and termination). There is no obligation to provide a detailed justification beyond what is required by the Company's policy or applicable law.
