This license governs the operation of dedicated game servers for UNDER US (« Game ») by players and communities. It is issued by Skills Issue Entertainment (« Company », « we », « our ») and supplements the Game's End User License Agreement (EULA). In case of conflict, the EULA prevails.
1. Overview
Players and communities may host dedicated servers for UNDER US for non-commercial gameplay purposes, subject to the terms of this license and the Game's Server Rules.
2. Grant of Rights
Skills Issue Entertainment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to:
- Host dedicated game servers that run a supported version of the Game (as made available by the Company).
- Allow other players to connect and play on your server in accordance with the EULA and Server Rules.
You may not use the Game or server software for purposes other than hosting gameplay as permitted here (e.g. no unauthorized commercial use, no redistribution of the Game or modified game files).
3. Server Operator Obligations
- Access fees: You may not charge players fees to access the server (e.g. paywalls, subscription) without prior written authorization from Skills Issue Entertainment.
- Game integrity: You may not distribute modified or pirated versions of the Game. Any server-side modifications must comply with the Modding Guidelines and Workshop Policy.
- Conduct: You must enforce rules that are consistent with the Game's Server Rules (respect for players, no cheating, no harassment, no intentional griefing, etc.). The Company recommends that you make your server rules clearly visible to players.
- Data: If you collect or process personal data (e.g. IP addresses, usernames) on your server, you must display a short privacy notice or link to your privacy policy so users know what data is collected and how it is used. You must comply with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction.
4. Branding
- You may use the Game's name « UNDER US » to identify your server (e.g. server name, community name).
- You may not imply or state that your server, community, or you are officially partnered with, endorsed by, or affiliated with Skills Issue Entertainment, unless you have a separate written agreement with the Company.
5. Liability
Skills Issue Entertainment is not responsible for:
- Third-party servers, their availability, or their content.
- Player activity on third-party servers.
- Any loss of data, progression, or other harm arising from use of third-party servers.
Server operation is at your own risk. You are responsible for your server's compliance with applicable law and with this license.
6. Termination
The Company may revoke your right to host servers if you violate this license, the EULA, or the Server Rules. Upon revocation, you must cease operating the server in connection with the Game. Continued use of the Game for server hosting after revocation may result in further action under the EULA.
